As the Principal Lawyer of Moody Law, Jason is responsible for the entire practice. Jason is a partner with over 20 years of experience in the industry and private practice working in Sydney, London and New York City.
Jason is a recognised leader in his field. He combines his extensive litigation experience with his commercial experience to get the best outcomes for his clients.
Jason has run claims against multinationals such as NTT Communications and CBS TV and institutions such as the Catholic Church, the Anglican Church and State and Regional Government departments in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, WA, SA and Tasmania.

As Special Counsel, Tham brings decades of experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Building and leading specialised teams to resolve commercial, administrative law and professional misconduct disputes, Tham is committed to ensuring just and optimal outcomes for her clients.
Tham’s extensive work in public service combined with her passion for social justice makes her an ideal advocate for those who need it the most. “There is nothing more rewarding than what we do here at Moody Law. A native of the United States of America, Ben brings varied experience in other areas of law to complement his current specialization within the area of personal injury and is committed in helping clients who have been sexually and physically abused as a child.
Ben is a skilled, diligent and committed lawyer with a passion for seeking restorative justice for those who have been wronged in the past. He is determined in assisting clients find a new lease on life through a thoughtful and fair legal process.

Sarah joined Moody Law to expand on her knowledge of the law and develop her experience in helping clients to access justice. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work and a postgraduate Law Degree.
Prior to joining Moody Law, Sarah worked for a small law firm where she gained experience in assisting clients with estate and property matters. She hopes to use the skills and experience she gained in her current role as a Manager. Like others at Moody Law, Sarah has a passion for social justice.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is also a loyal Giants supporter.

DEBBIE CHAN - LAWYER
Debbie has completed a double degree of Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Debbie fervor lies in creating an impact for those who experience helplessness, as she firmly believes that even the smallest steps can result in remarkable changes. Before becoming a part of the Moody Law, Debbie completed internships at various chambers, councilor offices, and accounting firms, where her responsibilities involved doing compliance tasks and conducting in-depth legal research.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys watching sci-fi movies, playing poker, and indulging in cooking (occasionally burning the kitchen).

Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2015, Ara has dedicated her career to social justice causes. She brings years of experience in dispute resolution, particularly in financial services and disability law from not-for-profit organisations.
Ara has always had a strong desire to advocate for the vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, particularly victims of domestic violence, people with disabilities, people of ATSI backgrounds and now victims of institutional abuse.
Outside of work, Ara enjoys training in aerial sports and spending time with family and friends.

TRACEY FIERTL - EXECUTIVE PARALEGAL
Tracey is an experienced manager who brings dedication and diligence to her role. She has a Master of Arts degree (History) and degrees in Human Bioscience and Australian history. Tracey has balanced raising a busy family with study and work commitments.
Tracey has completed a number of community projects related to work history including the publication of a book and has successfully nominated a historic house for listing on the NSW State Heritage Register.
Through these volunteer projects, Tracey has interacted with a wide variety of community members and continues to support the local community in heritage related research. “It is an honour to contribute to our communities in a meaningful way.”

Olivia is currently studying a Bachelor of International Studies and a Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University. She recently completed an overseas exchange at the University of Alcala in Madrid, Spain in 2023 where she developed a love for Spain and where she had an opportunity to work on her language skills and gain insight into another country’s legal system. Olivia has also a passion for travel and enjoys anything to do with music.

Trinity has worked in a variety of roles throughout her tertiary studies. Most notably, she brings a background working as a Medical Receptionist to the Paralegal role. In her spare time, you will find Trinity keenly watching the Office (US edition of course), doing Pilates and representing her University in Debating.
